how can i have 500 cds ready to sell by next friday. this is going to be my first public performace, and it's a huge crowd. maybe i should just perfrom and grow a fan base and then drop an album. just need some help that's all

There are many CD duplication/replication services available online. One of the more trusted sources is http://www.discmakers.com. They used to be associated w/ CDBaby and now own the company.
If this is your first show, I would suggest just playing the show and have the fans sign up for a fan list. Investing money in getting 500 CDs made on priority is probably jumping the gun. Find out exactly how much demand there is first, and then decide on what to do. Running out of CDs will likely put you in a better position than having too many.
