MARK CHRISTOPHER

I'm Mark Christopher, Born in Fort Worth, Texas. I played 12 string and classical guitar in High School in Italy, where I was fascinated by the works of Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, The 4 Tops, James Taylor, Led Zeppelin, Procol Harum, Joni Mitchell, and Crosby Stills Nash & Young, among others. I was taught music theory, and learned to love classical music as a french horn player for five years by my teacher and mentor Dr D'Amaso, as a student. I pretty much gave in to making a regular living doing a number of jobs for many years. I was injured on one of those jobs in late 2005, and was confined to a bed for 3 months. I started writing music in January of 2006, and I started recording June of 2006. Now I write several songs a month, and I'm hoping for some of my songs to make it, so I can invest in equipment and recording. I have a weekly podcast where I showcase my own music with a little inside information on how the song came to be. Now I have about hundred songs to my credit, and I hope to be signed and published.
