THOM GREEN
Fusing “old school” eighties hard rock, powerful vocals and strong hooks, singer- songwriter, Thom Green spreads the word of, deliverance and reconciliation through Jesus Christ. A born again Christian and hailing from Indianapolis, Thom has been singing in front of audiences since the age of five. With heavy influences from bands such as Stryper, Kings X and White Cross, Thom has forged his own style of hard hitting rock that stresses to the listener there is a positive side to this hard and difficult life, "by trusting in Jesus Christ".
With three albums released in the late 80's and early 1990’s, Thom cut his teeth at songwriting in various hard rock bands. The band, "Space Cowboys" while on the OCI label, had nominal success in the Midwest receiving heavy airtime across the U.S. and Canada. While fronting the band "Storybook Romance", Thom received his first recording contract with the Atlanta based Metroplex records.
As a solo artist, Thom has recorded and released limited runs of acoustic EP’s, that tell about life and its struggles. He has performed vocal work on various studio projects with other artists. Recorded at studios in Canada and the United States such as, The MetalWorks, TRC Studios, Diehl Production Studios and CAS. Thom has played guitar on commercials for “The Spaghetti Factory” and the “Indianapolis Twisters, as well as engineered albums and singles.
2010 is proving to be a very eventful time for Thom, as he has signed with Armor Records and has begun production of a 10 song album with them. Armor Records is the recording arm of Fair Warning Ministiries, which features Christian rock bands that spread the "Good news of Jesus Christ".
The future looks promising for Thom and Fair Warning Ministries, please support Thom by praying for him and the ministry that God has called him to do.
Thom,
I am a businessman with music as a professional hobby. A little over two years ago, I decided to setup a studio at my ranch, in the Missouri Ozarks and produce an all original project with songs written by me or co-written with others on the project. The debut project, " American Epicurean Side A " will release March 17,2010 by our label, Roosta Records. Originally, the concept was to facilitate and promote songs. A songwriting consortium, if you will. However, I have decided that we will also work to gain distribution channels for the original project as well as future projects. I have two artists that currently want us to represent and distribute. One we will produce and the other is a distribution deal only.
