Wisconsin Duet Michelle and Melinda To Take Number 1 Spot!
October 15, 2009 - Local duet Michelle and Melinda are gaining attention fast on an internet radio station headquarterd in Corpus Christi, TX with their song, "Maria." So fast, that this duet that grew up in New London, Wisconsin are neck in neck for the number 1 spot competing against 35 other songs and need your votes. Hosstheboss.com radio DJ Tony Kinsel found the girls online through their myspace and selected their song, "Maria" for his radio station contest. The contest started October 1st and runs until October 31st. Keep this hometown duet in the finals by logging onto hosstheboss.com and casting your vote once a day everyday until October 31st. "Maria," was inspired by several teenagers around the mid-west, whom Michelle encountered while speaking and performing to highschools about sex abstinence along with the support of the Aids Resource Center of Wisconsin. "Maria" illustrates the struggles and hardships of teenage pregnancy.
